The Youth Conservation Corps is a federal volunteer program managed by the National Park Service. The YCC was established in 1971 as a partnership of the Department of the Interior and the USDA. Congress mandates the the YCC maintain a budget of 2 million dollars in partnership with Fish and Wildlife Service and the United States Forest Service.
