Edible Communities is a holding group of magazines published about local culinary news, specializing in local food.

History

It was founded by Tracey Ryder and Carole Topalian in 2002 in Ojai, California. As of 2008 consists of 33 Edible magazines in the United States. Each magazine has culinary news tailored to the local area. Local publishers pay a franchising fee to Edible Communities in exchange for the title and some editorial support.
