kibbutz in northernIsrael . Located in theHula Valley , it falls under the jurisdiction ofUpper Galilee Regional Council . In 2006 it had a population of 372.The kibbutz was established in 1937 as a fishing village by a
gar'in ofHaMehnot HaOlim youth group members, and was named after the Hula Valley. After the draining of the Hula swamps, the residents moved to working in agriculture.
