Toronto Symphony Orchestra

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra is a Canadian orchestra. 400,000 people attend its live performances each year and it is often broadcast over CBC Radio 2. The TSO was founded in 1922 and performed in Massey Hall from 1923 to 1982. Currently TSO performances are held in Roy Thomson Hall. The Orchestra maintains a strong international presence, built by a history of touring, including its triumphant European tour in the spring of 2000, and reinforced by acclaimed recordings available in music stores around the world.
