Consumer Bankers Association

The Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) is a U.S. trade organization representing financial institutions offering retail lending products and services such as automobile financing, credit and debit cards, home equity lending, residential mortgages, small business loans, and student loans. The CBA hosts conferences[1] and provides educational courses, industry research[2] and federal and state-level representation on issues relating to consumer banking.[3][4]

History

The organization, which was founded in 1919, is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia and maintains statewide chapters across the country.
