Michele Trimarchi (born 1 Nov 1939) is a psychologist and the founder of the scientific discipline Neuropsychophysiology [ [http://www.neuropsychophysiology.org Website of ISN International Society of Neuropsychophysiology] ] . Neuropsychophysiology


Neuropsychophysiology was born based on studies carried out by Michele Trimarchi since the 1970s, about a) Information Physics, b) functional differences between the left and the right brain hemishperes, and c) the higher functions of the human brain. This new scientific discipline integrates Neurology, Psychology, and Physiology with the aim of bringing back the mind and the brain together and discover the 'physiology of consciousness', i.e. how a conscious ‘I’ develops through integrating mind’s dynamism with the body in its relationship with the environment.
