O'Brien Island

O'Brien Island

O'Brien Island (61°30′S 55°58′W / 61.5°S 55.967°W / -61.5; -55.967) is a small rocky island which rises to 540 m, lying 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) southwest of Aspland Island in the South Shetland Islands. The name dates back to at least 1822 and is now established in international usage.
