Tremendously high frequency is a frequency band so high that it is hard to consider it as a radio band. It is however used by some authors to designate the decade band next to EHF in increasing frequency order.
THF runs the range of frequencies from 300 gigahertz to 3 terahertz, lying in the low (or far) infrared range of the electromagnetic spectrum. The wavelength in this band varies from one to one tenth of a millimetre.
A Google search with the keywords SHF, EHF and THF revealed many technical sites where the THF acronym appears with the definition above. However, some authors have used other terms to designate this frequency band.
