Ghulam Muhammad Khan Mahar

Ghulam Muhammad Khan Mahar was a Pakistani politician. He was chief of the Mahar tribe. He got involved in politics, and became member of National Assembly of Pakistan in 1964. He became senator in 1973 with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He was Minster for Agriculture in Zia-ul-Haq era. He was elected Member of National Assembly in 1985 as an independent candidate. He was defeated by PPP's candidate Mian Mitho in 1988. He again won election in 1993 and after that he left politics.

He died on April 9, 1995.
