East of this station, there are tracks leading to
Jamaica Yard , which services all Queens Boulevard Line trains and is used to turn local trains. After this, NYCS|F trains switch to the local track and continue on to Jamaica–179th Street. There are three fare control areas along the full width mezzanine. Two of them are near each other along wrap-around passageway outside of fare control. The full time booth is near the east end and is closest to the 71st Avenue and
Queens Boulevard staircase on the south side. One of the part-time booths is in the same area in the middle of the mezzanine and is closest to 108th Street and 71st Avenue. It is in service during the morning rush hours. Other time, passengers must enter and exit using the High Entry-Exit Turnstiles. The other part-time booth is at the west end by 70th Road and Queens Blvd and has only one street stair. There are 7 stairs to each platform. The platform walls have a green tile band with black border. A renovated and expanded tower is at the far eastern end of the Jamaica-bound platform, another mini-tower sits on the center of the Manhattan-bound platform, but it is not used very often.Bus connections
