Government Childcare Centers (US)

Government Childcare Centers (US)

Government Childcare Centers are federally owned daycare centers located in the United States of America. They were first proposed by feminists of the late 1960s,dubious who began to advocate twenty-four hour child care centers as a intregal part of their core platform.dubious While opposed by much of the population (even by feminists themselves as being too totalitarian and expensive) even in the early 1970s, acceptance gained throughout time and these were finally implemented as a test program.

These centers are found in every major metropolitan area in the United States. This service is sometimes subsidized by federal and/or State funds for low-income families.
