The Lindsey School and Community Arts College, often shortened to TLS or, frequently referred to as, Lindsey, is a secondary school in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire. The school is a specialist Arts College.

History

Positive

Credit are awarded to students for attendance, punctuality, effort and conduct these are added and tracked via a central 'database'.At the end of each Half-Term each year group holds a special celebration assembly hosted by their Head of Year, prizes are given to students with the highest number of credits and also to those who excel in certain subjects.The 'top' students in the school in 2008 were rewarded for the efforts with a trip to Alton Towers on 22nd July 2008.

Lindsey has strong academic and sporting rivalries with Matthew Humberstone School and Tollbar Business and Enterprise College

The school is well known for producing footballers which then go on to play for Grimsby Town.

The Lindsey football teams have won many trophies such as the Grimsby Cup in 2007/08.

They are rated highly after many seasons of progressing through to the latter stages of the ESFA Cup and competing for titles at national futsal events.

Chris Hargreaves former professional football player, clubs include Grimsby Town, Oxford United and Northampton Town.

Peter Winn (footballer) a young footballer currently playing for Scunthorpe United.

Matthew Bird another young footballing star currently playing for Grimsby Town.
