Steven Taylor is an Australian born Rugby union player of Aboriginal heritage. He was born in Cowra, New South Wales on 2 June 1983. He was educated at The Scots School, Bathurst where he was selected in the Australian Schoolboys team. He then went on to play for Australia at U19 and 21 levels before playing for Northampton Saints and London Irish.
He has also been a member of the New South Wales Waratahs gaining 2 caps. He currently plays for the Gordon Highlanders in the Shute Shield.
