Moise Paul

Moise Paul (born November 24, 1985), is an professional American Football Player and American Businessman. Moise Paul a native of Brooklyn, NY attended New Utrecht High School. He played college football for the Florida Gators. After finishing junior college he was put on scholarship at the University of Florida and was part of the 2006 Florida Gators Football team which won the National Championship. Early Childhood

Moise Paul grew up in the Flatbush section Brooklyn, NY. He was raised in a single parent home and has a well relationship with his estranged father. Paul has said that growing up he mostly admired rap mogul Jay-z. During this time Paul stood out amongst his peers both athletically and academically by winning many awards in both respective fields. Paul has won the annual New York City Memorial Day Essay Contest, the Superintendent District award, the Jackie Robinson award, the Lenny Lucks Memorial award, and currently holds his high school season and career sack records as well as the PSAL wingate athletic accomplishment award.

College Years

While attending the University of Florida in 2005, under the first year of Coach Urban Meyer, Paul would begin his years at Florida. Although Paul was not a premier player or starter at Florida, he would become teammates and good friends with some of UF's most notable players like Reggie Nelson, Tim Tebow, Marcus Thomas, Luis Murphy, Percy Harvin, Chris leak and Jarvis Moss. In the season of 2006 Paul would become part of the kickoff squad.

Professional Football Career

Paul worked out for NFL scouts at the 2008 Pro Day at Florida Field. He jumped a 30 inch vertical, 38 reps on the bench press, did not run 40 yard dash, and did not do well during the position drill event. He has since been on and off with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Paul had a brief stint with the San Jose Sabercats of the AFL in the spring of 2008. During the month of June in 2008 Paul signed to the Sioux City Bandits of the UIFL.
