Description
The shell is much larger than "
Lamellaria ophione ", more globosely-rotund, with the spire coiling clearly visible from the aperture. The animal is 50 to 60 mm in length, the surface much wrinkled, reddish-brown, marbled with yellowish-grey.The shell height is up to 23 mm, and width is up to 27 mm.
