Crown Wood

Crown Wood is a south-eastern suburb of Bracknell in the English county of Berkshire, and formerly part of the parish of Winkfield.

Originally a small new town type development on the outskirts of the town, the area grew considerably but is now hemmed in by Forest Park to the east, Harmans Water to the north and Birch Hill to the west. It is named after the Crown Estate of Swinley Forest.

It is located alongside the A322 Bagshot Road. Crown Wood centres around a 'U' shaped road called Opladen Way. It has a small shopping plaza with a newsagent, grocery shop, off license, NHS doctors' surgery, NHS dental clinic and a public house aptly named 'The Crown Wood'

Also within Crown Wood is an excellent Primary School, Community Centre and Residents Club with its own Bar.

Crown Wood is served by the First Group Bus Services 155, 158, 159, 171, 172 and 954

It is served by 3 Conservative Councillors on Bracknell Forest Council:-
