Vincenzo Fiorillo started playing football in Nuova Oregina Calcio from the Oregina neighborhood of Genoa. He started playing in the youth squads, but were quickly spotted as a potential star. He has played for several "Azzurrini" teams.
He played his first match at senior level in Sampdoria's
January 11 game away against Empoli. At that time he was merely 17 years of age.He has played in the UEFA Cup in Sampdoria's second tier game against Croatian
Hadjuk Split .On April 10th he was part of the first ever Sampdoria Primavera squad to win the Primavera Cup. In the final he saved two of four penalties in the shootout against Atalanta, thus secruring victory for "Blucerchiati".
In 2008 he won the first ever Campionato Primavera for Sampdoria.
