Nagpur-Aurangabad-Mumbai express highway

Express Highway, based on the govt approval and the formal announcement by state govt authorities, this highway will be a project connecting two major cities in Maharashtra to Mumbai via the same route and in less than the distance covered by the NH_6. This will take almost 8 hrs less than before, from Nagpur to Mumbai, via NH-6, sources said.

Though this is a state highway, but it is built on the National Highway basis. It's major route will be as follows.

Nagpur - Butibori - Wardha - Pulgaon - - Talegaon - Karanja - Malegaon - Mehkar - - Sindhkhedraja - Jalna - Aurangabad - Vaijapur - - Sawantsar - Pun-tamba - Zagade - Sinnar - Ghoti - Mumbai
