BMV is a singer/songwriter from Reykjavik, Iceland. BMV is currently in New York recording his first solo album, which is set to be released in late 2008/2009.

BMV was born on December 19, 1978 in Iceland as Brynjar Mar Valdimarsson. He began his music career in 1992, when he started his first band. He began recording songs as a solo artist and released is first single in 1995, when he was 17 years old, followed by further releases in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999.

Presently, BMV is working as a Program- Music Director for the biggest media company in Iceland, on FM957, as well as recording his first solo album in New York, USA.

Having teamed up with the US lyricist, SJ Sinister™ , BMV is in the process of having the album recorded in New York by major label mix and engineer/producer, Ken Lewis, after which he plans to have it mastered in Canada by arranger Andy Krehm.

His debut single, "Forget About Me", got airplay and charted in over 13 countries, and was included on The World Chart Show, as Boarder Breakout, next to Avril Lavigne. His second single taken from the album, "The Beginning", called "Endlessly", was also pre-released around Europe and got airplay and charted in over 17 countries.
