The Brindled Pug "(Eupithecia abbreviata)" is a moth of the family Geometridae.

The wingspan is 19-22 mm. The length of the forewings is 10-12 mm. The adults fly in April and May ref|flight_season.

The larvae feed on oak and hawthorn.
