"Speed Ballads" is the second album by the band Republica. Released in 1998, Speed Ballads was the follow up to Republica's self titled debut album. Speed Ballads reached #37 [ [http://www.everyhit.co.uk UK top 40 hit database] ] in the UK Album Charts. There were tentavie plans to release the album in the United States in January 1999 but these plans were cancelled.
