It lies approximately convert|5|km|mi|0 north-east of Drelów, convert|17|km|mi|0|abbr=on south-west of Biała Podlaska, and convert|82|km|mi|0|abbr=on north of the regional capital Lublin. From 1975-1998 Żerocin was in the now defunkt Biała Podlaska Voivodeship.
