Irina Zakyan

Irina Zakyan is an Armenian soprano.

Zakyan was born in Gyumri. She completed her post-graduate studies at Yerevan State Conservatory with prof. Nelli Pirumova. She has performed as soloist with the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, worked with conductors Ohan Durian, Hovhannes Chekijian, Eduard Topchjan, Leon Botstein, John Nelson (USA), etc. She had participated in festivals that include Bad Fussing (Germany) and Wratislava Cantan (Poland).
