Aserate Kasa

Le'ul Ras Aserate Kassa (Aserate-Mariam Kassa) is the son of Ras Kassa Haile Darge. He married Le'ilt Zuriash Mulugeta, daughter of Ras Mulugeta. During the reign of Haile Selassie I, he has held several positions including Governor of Arsi, Shewa and Regency of Eritrea. He was the president of the Crown Council, when the Derg came into power. He was imprisoned and later executed by Derg with other sixty imperial officials.
