Goran Vučević (born May 18, 1971, in Split) is a former Croatian international football player and current manager of HNK Hajduk Split.

He started his career at Hajduk where he became a key player, and in 1992 he was signed by FC Barcelona. He stayed at the Spanish side for five seasons, but could not break into the first team which featured such world stars battling for the then allowed three spots for foreign players like Ronald Koeman, Michael Laudrup, Hristo Stoichkov, Romario, Gheorghe Hagi or Luis Figo. He was first loaned out to his former club and then CP Merida, before in 1997 he was finally sold to 1.FC Köln. But he could not make a real impact in Germany either, even after his club was relegated from the Bundesliga, and he finally returned to Hajduk in 1999 where he finished his career a couple of years later.

In 1992 and 1993 he played four times for the Croatia national football team, scoring no goals.

After finishing his playing career, he became a trainer and in 2008 May he was nominated as head coach for Hajduk.
