Like any other village in Andhra, Many festivals are celebrated in this Village.But, the noted ones are Sankranthi and Dasara. Sankranthi is called 'Pedda Panduga' (Big Festival). Normally, it falls on January 15 every year. Sankranthi is the second one in a row of four festivals that are celebrated in this month. in addition to this many other festivals are celebrated. Subrahmanya Shasti (Normally falls in December) and Vinayaka Chavithi (falls in September), Chintalamma teertam (falls in May) are a treat to the eyes.

This Village is located in the way of Rajahmundary to Kakinada"' (Via."Ramachandrapuram"), Ramachandrapuram is a town which is 2 kilometres from this village. Andhra Pradesh State Government Runs many buses from Rajahmundry and Kakinada to Ramachandrapuram. Rajahmundry and Kakinada are on the two sides of this village, about 40 km far from it.
