The Seoul Times

"The Seoul Times" is an online English-language newspaper in Korea. Its competitors include "The Korea Times", the "Korea Herald", and the English edition of the "JoongAng Ilbo". "The Seoul Times" was founded by Joseph Joh (ko-hhrm|hangul=조운경|hanja=趙雲鯨) on May 1, 2001. "The Seoul Times" is headquartered in Seoul, although it is operated by a number of correspondents and volunteer writers from around the world.

As its slogan, "Serving All Foreigners Interested in Korea" says, "The Seoul Times" is the only newspaper that primarily serves foreign readers with news and information. The majority of ST readers are influential people including foreign ambassadors and diplomats, foreign business officials, and other opinion leaders.
