Scene (community)

A scene is the "sphere of activity" associated with a particular artistic genre (e.g. of music or film) usually in a specific geographical area. It may also refer to the "group of people" (fans and/or artists) involved in such a sphere, whose common interest results in a sense of community.

Participants in the warez subculture also refers to it as "the scene".
