April 23 ,1927 –July 12 ,2008 ) was an American writer. She helped start "Triumph", a Catholic opinion journal that lasted for almost a decade. She had also been a freelance editor atRegnery Publishing , "National Review ", "The American Spectator ", and "Communio: International Catholic Review".The daughter of
William Frank Buckley, Sr. and Aloise Steiner Buckley, she was the wife ofBozell Worldwide co-founderL. Brent Bozell Jr. , the mother ofMedia Research Center founderL. Brent Bozell III , and the sister of conservative authorWilliam F. Buckley, Jr. and former United States SenatorJames L. Buckley .
