Aaron Doornekamp

Aaron Doornekamp (born December 12, 1985) is a Canadian basketball player from Odessa, Ontario. He is one of the stars of the Carleton University Ravens men's basketball team. He is also a member of the Canadian national men's basketball team. He played in the 2007 Pan-American Games and the 2008 Olympic Qualifying Tournament. He was named CIS Men's Basketball Player of the year in 2008. He was a member of the Carleton Ravens national championship teams in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and won the MVP award at the 2007 final eight tournament. He is the nephew of Ravens coach Dave Smart.
