The Light Arches ("Apamea lithoxylaea") is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is distributed throughout Europe.

This species has a wingspan of 43-50 mm. This moth flies at night from June to August and is attracted to light and sugar.

Usually single brooded from June to mid-August. Sometimes a partial second brood in September to November.

The larva feeds on various grasses, especially the stems and roots.
