Petro Canada Oakville Refinery is a former refinery located on the border of Oakville, Ontario and Burlington, Ontario.
Opened in 1958, it was later acquired by Petro Canada and supplied fuel and lubricants in Ontario It closed in 1985 and supplies re-located to Montreal.
The facility onced employed 350 people. Petro Canada still operates from the site for storage only.
It was the second refinery to close along Lake Ontario, Esso's Mississauga, Ontario refinery located further east on Lakeshore Road closed in 1985.
It is said that the plant has been disassembled and been sent to India for refining use in their country.
