Aberdeen Burghs was a constituency in the Parliament of Great Britain. It was created for the 1708 general election and returned one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system until the Parliament was abolished by the Act of Union 1800, which created the Parliament of the United Kingdom on 1 January 1801. Aberdeen Burghs was represented in the UK Parliament from 1801 to 1832.
Boundaries
The constituency consisted of the burgh of Aberdeen in the County of Aberdeen, the burgh of Inverbervie in the County of Kincardine and the burghs of Arbroath, Brechin and Montrose in the County of Forfar.
