Bev Kinch

Bev Kinch (born 14 January 1964) is a former British long jump and sprint athlete.

She competed at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, Australia, winning the bronze medal in the long jump with a jump of 6.78m. She also competed in the 1984 European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden, where she won a gold medal in the 60m sprint in a time of 7.16 seconds. She also competed at the 1986 European Indoor Championships in Madrid, Spain, where she ran a time of 7.13 seconds in the 60m sprint, a British record that was held until Jeanette Kwakye ran 7.08 seconds at the World Indoor Championships in Valencia, Spain, in 2008. She is the current British record holder for the long jump with a distance of 6.90m which she achieved in 1983 in Helsinki.
