CRISP is an acronym for Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects.CRISP is a fully searchable database of federally funded
biomedical research projects, including those undertaken at universities,hospital s and private research institutions. It includes research projects funded by theNational Institutes of Health (NIH),Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHSA),Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA),Food and Drug Administration (FDA),Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP),Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ), andOffice of Assistant Secretary of Health (OASH).All users, including the general public, can search through the CRISP interface for scientific concepts or emerging trends and techniques that are covered by federal funding. It can also be used to identify specific projects or investigators that receive, or have received, funding.
