Jack, Erica, Gabrielle and Heath attend a hockey match on their day off but must intervene when a fight breaks out between a spectator and a player. As the player goes after the spectator, he accidentally kicks a player from the opposite team in the throat with his ice hockey boot, slashing it severely.

Frank and Dan treat a 15-year-old girl called Georgia Feeney whose only chance of survival is a heart transplant. As they drain the fluid from her lungs (a procedure which she has had multiple times and dreads), Dan supports her by discussing lines and scenes from horror movies (a subject of particular interest to her). Her father Ethan later receives a call notifying him that a donor heart has become available and both he and his daughter are overjoyed. The staff in the ED have two hours to transport her to another hospital in order to receive the heart. Bart persuades Ann-Marie to have a check-up. She refuses to see her oncologist, so Bart organises for her to see Jack. Jack examines her and finds she has a swollen lymph node, admitting that her cancer may have spread. He takes a sample from her and later leaves the ED to check on her results. Frank approaches Bart about his relationship with Ann-Marie, saying that a relationship with a patient (especially given her circumstances) may be viewed as ethical misconduct to a medical tribunal. Bart tells Frank to back off and that his relationship with her is none of his business. Mike tells Frank that he is able to donate his kidney to his son Simon McDermott after receiving results of a donor match test. Mike finds this prospect extremely daunting. Mike and Erica fight to save the life of Brian Hilton, a man injured as a result of an accident at a construction site. Gabrielle discovers that he has bought a wedding anniversary card and airline tickets for a second honeymoon with his wife. Just as they are about to take him to Theatre, they discover that the lifts are not working, leaving them no other option than to take him back to Resus until the lifts start working again. Unable to wait any longer, Mike decides he must take his patient to Theatre via an alternative route. Amidst all this, James Byrne, a supposed member of maintenance staff in the hospital, leads an intrusion of the ED along with Melissa and 'Smokey', holding the staff and patients of the ED at gunpoint. The group demand medication, and push Von into the storeroom and tell her to bag it. They lock several members of staff in another room. Away from all the commotion, Erica and Dan huddle together in a toilet (which Dan insists should be kept open so it does not look like they are hiding) and try to keep as quiet as possible. Melissa, who is surveying the area, opens the door and finds them, ushering them out to join the other group. All members of the ED except Steve and Jack are locked in the ED. Season 10 of All Saints concludes with the activation of a bomb hidden in the pathology lab, with a timer—starting on 15 minutes—beginning to count down…
