New services

On March 28, 2008, a number of radio broadcasting companies applied for new radio services in Red Deer, Drumheller, Edmonton and other areas in Alberta, including one location in British Columbia. Only one television station, CHCA-TV, is based in Red Deer. All of the city's other television services are rebroadcasters of stations from Edmonton.
