Death In Public are a 3 piece alternative rock band from Lancaster, United Kingdom.They formed in early 2006 while founding member Julian Dicken (Vox, Guitar) was attending secondary school. Sometime after, Josh Longton was found and a writing partnership was formed.

Career

The band have released 3 singles and an EP all receiving considerable amounts of positive press [ [http://www.geocities.com/deathinpublic/PRESS.html Death In Public Press Archive] ] , leading to comparisons to bands such as Mogwai, My Bloody Valentine and Bloc Party. Their music has been featured on local and national radio including BBC Radio 1 coverage.
