Etoka, Russia

Etoka ( _ru. Population (multiethnic) is about 3,600 (as of 2007).

The settlement was established in early 19th century, initially under the name Sablya (saber) and renamed to the current name in about 1897-1899. The name is the cogname with the Kabardin settlement Etoko and means "Mud Valley" in Kabardian/Adyghe languages of North Caucasus.
