Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps "Quinte" is a
Royal Canadian Sea Cadets training centre inBelleville, Ontario . The unit derives its name from theWWII minesweeper warship|HMCS|Quinte|J166.Courses
The Sea Cadet training program is divided into five phases of training that involve aspects of
sailing ,seamanship ,marksmanship , drill andmusic . Through their phases of training, cadets learn skills to move from the basic level to that of an instructor. Cadets also receive training infirst aid ,physical fitness ,sports ,citizenship , and instructional technique, and have the option of attending a Summer Training Centre in one of four trades: Sail,Boatswain , Music andGunnery .Officers
