CSTC HMCS Quinte

Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps "Quinte" is a Royal Canadian Sea Cadets training centre in Belleville, Ontario. The unit derives its name from the WWII minesweeper warship|HMCS|Quinte|J166.

Courses

The Sea Cadet training program is divided into five phases of training that involve aspects of sailing, seamanship, marksmanship, drill and music. Through their phases of training, cadets learn skills to move from the basic level to that of an instructor. Cadets also receive training in first aid, physical fitness, sports, citizenship, and instructional technique, and have the option of attending a Summer Training Centre in one of four trades: Sail, Boatswain, Music and Gunnery.
