Ben Schiffer (born 12 July 1983, Amsterdam) is a
television writer andplaywright , known most notably for his contribution to the channel 4 teen dramaSkins . He studied English and History atTrinity College, Dublin , graduating in 2006 with First Class Honours.Television Work
Schiffer has written for
Hot or Not (2006),Brief Encounters (2006),Skins series 1 and 2 (2007-8), andSpooks (2008).Theatre
Schiffer wrote his first play, Paper Tigers, whilst still at university; the play ran to sell-out crowds at the Edinburgh fringe.
He has collaboratively written 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover with four other young playwrights.
