[http://www.womenonweb.org/ Women on Web] is an online abortion help service for countries where there is no access to "safe abortion service" (read illegal). The abortion is done with Mifepristone and Misoprostol at home before the 9th week of pregnancy, the medicines are sent by mail under the supervision of a doctor. Women on Web's goal is to prevent unsafe abortion and reduce mortality rate due to unsafe abortions by supporting access to safe medical abortion through use of telemedicine. The moment a woman has an unwanted pregnancy and she has no access to safe abortion services, her life is in severe danger. According to the World Health Organization 1 in about every 300 women who has unsafe abortion dies (67 000 women annually die because of unsafe abortions).
