Summary

Twelve sisters were born in a rich family and lived very happy but suddenly they turned poor because of the robbery in their father business ship. They went to live in the woods and catch the animals for food. However, it still couldn't help their livelihood be better, so their father abandoned them in the deep forest. However, they could return home safely by Pov (the youngest sister), who is the road leader. Yet, their father abandoned them again and this time, they had no way to return to their home again. As they are lost, they walked far away from the forest until they arrived at the giant's kingdom where there was a kind female giant who adopted them as her daughters, but the giant kept her real appearance secretly from them.

10 years later, all twelve sisters grew into beautiful young woman. But at that age, the sisters discovered the giant's secret and ran away to a safe zone. They arrived to a kingdom and they all became the queen to a young king because their charm made him fall in love. Sometime after they all became pregnant, the giantress found them and turned herself into a young woman in order to become another queen to the king. When the time was right, the giant had eleven of the sisters' eyes put out. Pov only had one eye put out. All of Pov's sisters gave birth to dead girls, so they ate their kids as a meal. However, Pov gave birth to a young boy who still survived and she kept her boy secretly from her sisters.

5 Years later, young Rodasan, traveled to his father's palace to find food for his mother and meet the giantress. With pity and love towards Rodasan, the Giantress adopted Rodasan to be her son and she promised him that she will never do something wrong again.

A few years later, Rodasan was now a handsome man with knowledge and was very powerful, yet he still took food to his mother and aunts. One day, the Giantress gave Rodasan a letter to kill him in her kingdom because if she didn't do this, her other adopted daughter, Maree, would die. While Rodasan was traveling, he met a hermit who changed the letter from killing into wedding for Rodasan. Rodasan went to the giant's kingdom by a flying horse. When he arrived, he gave it to Maree and the wedding began. Maree and Rodasan lived happily but one day, Rodasan found out about his mother and aunts' eye. So he drugged Maree and stole the eyes to save his mother and aunts. Maree woke up and saw Rodasan leave, so she followed him until he threw the magic potion to be the sea to stop her but he promised her that he will come back when he finished his job.

At her kingdom, Giantress got angry as she thought Rodasan lied to her and she tried to kill him but Rodasan's honest heart prevented her from doing so. Suffering with a broken heart, she dies. Rodasan gave the eyes to his mother and aunts. He left for Maree who was waiting for him, but she too died. Before she did, she promises that since in this lifetime Rodasan followed her, she would do the same in the next life. Rodasan now hugged her body for a long time until he died as well. The lakorn ends with their spirits turning into many lights and flying to their next life.
