"A Delicate Balance" is the season finale for the third season of the CBS drama series "Touched by an Angel". Anndi McAfee guest stars as Rebecca.
Plot
A family is still coping with the death of their father. Meanwhile, Sandra (Dee Wallace Stone)'s teenage daughter Rebecca (Anndi McAfee) applies for a gymnastics competition, and Sandra gives her her best support, while her son TJ (Vincent Berry) hangs out at an indoor skate park nearby. TJ gets into mischief though. He tries stealing money when Andrew isn't watching, and tries roller skating without a helmet.
Sandra one day walks by the house they used to live, but moved out after her husband died. Now they live in an apartment.
TJ goes roller skating again without a helmet, but crashes really badly and is sent to the hospital.
Sandra walks over to her old house where she sees Tess as an angel, saying that she should grieve instead of immersing herself in her daughter's career.
At the gymnastics competition, Rebecca is on the balance beam, but slips (apparently the first time she ever had). Monica reveals herself as she's on the ground, and says that she should never feel alone and that her father is proud of her. She finished her routine after that. TJ then checks out of the hospital, and Sandra buys back their old house.
