Guy Coheleach is an American wildlife artist, recognized as among the finest contemporary painters of wildlife. [ [http://www.guysart.com/guy2/AboutGuy/go Guy Coheleach biography] ]

Coheleach (pronounced Ko-lee-ak) was born in New York City in 1933 and graduated from Cooper Union School of Art in 1956. [Coheleach, Guy and Nancy A. Neff. The Big Cats: The Paintings of Guy Coheleach. New York: Abradale/Abrams, 1986.] His paintings have received the Society of Animal Artists' Award of Excellence [ [http://www.societyofanimalartists.com/awards.html The Society of Animal Artists - Exhibition Awards ] ] eight times, and he was awarded the prestigious Master Artist Medal from the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in 1983.
