This species is found in shallow water on rocky shores.
Description
The shell has rounded whorls, variably spirally lirate and weakly axially , with a capacious
body whorl , the neck being slight and near to the short twisted and recurvedsiphonal canal .Coloration is variable, ranging from pale brownish to sparse narrow brown spiral lines and numerous spiral lines. Maximum height is 49 mm, and width 23 mm.
