Set in a post-apocalyptic environment, Powerslide is a 3D racing game released for PC on December 7th, 1998. It was the first of the "Powerslide" series and the only one released so far. Developed by Ratbag Games and published by GT Interactive, Powerslide became known for it's realistic physics and ground-breaking graphics.

Powerslide Slipstream:

The much anticipated sequel: Powerslide: Slipstream was canceled due to a lack of funding and publisher. News in 2003 suggests that it is being revived in development.

Critical Response

Powerslide received largely positive reviews with IGN: US giving it an 8.5/10. Gamespot gave it a 7.5 while the Gamespot user score gave it 8.1 out of 10.
