Al-'As ibn Wa'il

al-'As ibn Wa'il ( _ar. العاص بن وائل) was the father of the Sahaba 'Amr ibn al-'As and Hisham ibn al-A'as.

Surat al-Kawthar is the 108th sura of the Qur'an, and the shortest.
