Baskerville Raceway is a is a 2.01 km (1.26 mi) permanent motor and motorbike racing circuit. It is located in 156 Argyle St, Hobart [http://www.nmd.com.au/racetracks_detail.cfm?id=18] , Tasmania, Australia. The circuit was sited on a natural amphitheatre and opened in February 1958 by the Hobart Sporting Car Club. It has been operating continuously. Its official site suggested that it is the oldest continuously operating circuit in Australia. It hosted Winfield 25's Touring car challenge, Australian Sports Car Championship, Australian Formula 2 Championship, Australian Road Racing Championship for Motorcycles and other races [http://www.motorsportstas.com.au/Baskerville.php?sm=3] .
