Benjamin Enos was an American politician.
Life
In 1813, he settled in DeRuyter, New York.
He was a member from Madison County of the
New York State Assembly in 1834, 1839 and 1840. He was Supervisor of the Town of DeRuyter in 1837. In 1842, he was elected by the State Legislature a canal commissioner. As a member of the Hunker faction of the Democratic Party, he wasNew York State Treasurer from 1845 to 1846.ources
